Amaretto Pecan Cake
 
½ cup chopped pecans
1 box yellow cake mix
1 package (3.5 oz) instant pudding and pie mix
4 eggs
1 stick butter, melted
½ cup oil
½ cup water
½ cup amaretto

Grease and flour bundt pan. Crumble pecans into bottom of pan. Place cake mix and pudding mix in bowl. Add eggs, butter, oil, water, and amaretto. Mix 2 minutes. Pour batter into pan. Bake for 50 minutes or until done. Make sauce just before the cake is done.

Sauce
1 stick butter
1 cup sugar
¼ cup amaretto

To make sauce, slowly heat butter and sugar in small saucepan until sugar is dissolved. Remove from heat and add amaretto. Stir to mix well. While cake is still in pan and piping hot, punch lots of tiny holes all over cake and pour half of sauce over cake. Let cool and invert onto plate and pour the remaining sauce over the top of the cake.
