The Seabreeze Chapter held their March 2007 DOG at Sylvan Rodriguez Park in Clear Lake City on the 17th. Our theme for this month was Irish cooking. We had a fair turnout this month. We had four families from the Seabreeze Chapter. Alice made boxty pancakes and barm brack bread with hand churned green butter. Neil made corned beef with cabbage and apple cake. Sandra & Ken cooked a beef and potato casserole, green beans with potatoes and sausage, and a green cake. They also had a green cheese ball to snack on while we cooked. Todd and Callie made Irish herb scones. Food was wonderful and so was the weather. Once again, we had plenty of visitors but this time they took over the pavilion and ran us out. I calculate that was our last visit to that park.
