Dutch Oven
Gathering (DOG)/DEMO #5
November 19, 2007
On Saturday the 17th of November we did our annual Dutch oven cooking demonstration for the Cub Scout leaders of Bayshore District. Ken Butler cooked pigs in a blanket and a pumpkin spice cake. Alice and Bob Gidney cooked pumpernickel bread and BBQ beans. We answered numerous questions about the care and storage of cast iron ovens, cooking, recipes, and our cooking group. Maybe we will have some new cooks at our next DOG.
