Dutch
Oven Gathering (DOG) #23
May 17, 2008
On Saturday May 17, 2008 the Seabreeze Chapter held our monthly DOG at the Seabreeze Park. The theme this month was brunch. We had wonderful weather for a change with temperature in the 60s and very little wind. We had four families cooking in 7 ovens and a total of 10 people present at meal time. Another small gathering. We enjoyed steak and eggs and cinnamon rolls that Bauer made. Alice and Bob Gidney made a wild berry buckle with vanilla cream sauce. Ken Butler made pineapple almond cake, hash brown casserole, and ham and cheese cornbread. Our next scheduled gathering will be November for the demo at Webelos Woods.
