Lodge Banquet 2004

This year's Colonneh Lodge Banquet was a huge success!  It's the first time, as far as we know, that ANY chapter as ever won both the Ralph Rivera Native American Culture Award, honoring their Native American program, and the Chapter of the Year Award.  We've won both awards before, but never in the same year.  We received the Ralph Rivera in 2002 for the first time, and the Chapter of the Year in 1992, 1998, 2001, but now we are the holders of both!

Sonny Moak and John Eaton received the coveted Colonneh Lodge Numbered Certificate.  They have continued to faithfully serve the Lodge, and keep regular office hours at the Council office.

Karl Paulissen, Nelson Carter, and Bill Wright were awarded Indian Events Committee jackets.  These gorgeously embroidered wind-breakers are given to those who have been incredibly active within the Native American program in the Lodge.

Finally, we said good-bye to Mr. Harry Thomson, who retired as Lodge Adviser after 22 years of service.  40 Bayshore members and friends, old and new came in droves to honor and appreciate Mr. Thomson's 22 years and all that he has given to the Lodge program.

At the end of the Banquet, the 19th Annual Ani-Lati Rendezvous happened at Denny's.  The last of us finally left around 2 a.m. with a plan for a repeat performance next year!
