Crew 408 & Ani-Lati Chapter Pow Wow 2004
The second annual 408 Venture Crew and Ani-Lati Chapter Pow Wow held on December 4, 2004, was a great success! About 75 dancers and visitors came from around the Houston area and as far away as northern Oklahoma. Before the dance we all had a wonderful meal and some good fellowship. Tom Stone and Charlene Leib fulfilled their roles as head man and head lady dancers admirably. MC Dave Bang kept the program moving and the participants chuckling throughout the evening while Rocky Stevenson and Travis Wright controlled the crowd and greeted every attendee at least once. In addition to the regular inter-tribal dances, several cakes were given away in the cake walk. We were once again honored by the presence of adopted Crew 408 Grandmother Rosetta LeClaire, Ponca/Otoe-Missouri.
