BSARROW
Since 1998
Dear Arrowmen,
The excitement still continues with the Ani-Lati chapter! We've got really
cool events happening right around the corner. Saturday is the revival of our
the old Advancement Saturday's we used to have. All kids from all troops in
the district that are under first class, come on out to Bay Area Park from
9-noon work on your next rank! It's basically a first class emphasis day
program that can jumpstart you on your way. We'll also be needing Arrowmen
that are past the first class rank to help teach. It's one thing that helped
me get first class as soon as I did. For more information, visit
http://www.ani-lati.org/unit_assistance.
In from April 16-18th, we'll be doing more chapter unit assistance. Troop 869
has asked us to come out and help put on their troop rock climbing camp out.
It'll be one night of camping out--Friday night. For more information, visit
http://www.ani-lati.org/unit_assistance.
Native American Weekend is coming up as well! April 2-4 at Camp Bovay, will
be the 5th annual Native American Weekend. It's open to all Boy Scouts and
Scouters, Venturers and Leaders, OA members, Cub Scout Leaders. This year is
the first year it's open to Cub Scouts as well, but only to the first 200 to
register, so hurry up and get those applications in! For more information go
to
http://www.ani-lati.org/
Finally, we'll be having another Brotherhood ceremony opportunity at our March
14th meeting. Come on out and grow some bars! For more information go to
http://www.ani-lati.org/.
Thanks for all your time, and I hope to see you all on Saturday!
Yours in the Order, Scouting, and Life,
Nelson Carter
