The Arrow of Light
The Arrow of Light Award is Cub
Scouting's highest award! Because of this, Colonneh Lodge has developed a
ceremony to be used for this occasion. The Ani-Lati's Ceremony Committee
will provide a team to do an Arrow of Light Ceremony for your Pack! We do
a lot of work with ceremonies all throughout the year and perfect our work to do the
best job possible for Webelos crossing into Boy Scouting with the Arrow of
Light Award. We offer this as a service to the Packs in the District, and
would love for you to take advantage of this opportunity in its entirety.
Here is a small portion of the ceremony as an example:
The Arrow of Light contains an arrow and a sun - The sun may be considered a setting sun signifying the end of the trails of Cub Scouting - a journey well done. The sun may also be considered a rising sun - the beginning of Boy Scouting with different adventures. Either way it is symbolic of the boys who are ending Cub Scouting and beginning Boy Scouting.
